I'm a 42-year-old single mother working in a fairly small town in Oklahoma. I live in a town called Muskogee. Yes, I'm truly an Okie from Muskogee. I've lived here for the past 17 years, and consider this my home. I'm an R.N. and I have a page with links to nursing sites for those interested in that kind of thing. I'm working full-time in ICU at Saint Francis Hospital, part of the Saint Francis Health Systems. It's a very exciting place to work.

I have one son, Justin. He's now 20 years old. He lives in Tahlequah. He has taken a few classes, but right now feels that school is just not his thing. He is planning to start working at a drug store in Siloam Springs, Arkansas in the very near future. We had our picture taken for Christmas presents this year and you can see it here

My mom and dad are retired, sort of. They have been in the process of remodeling a home for the past umpteen years. It's finally done, sort of... At least they are living in most parts of the house now! They will celebrate their 45th anniversary in January. That's a long time to be married to one person, I think!!

I have one sister. She's married to one of the salt of the earth. He's a wheat farmer in Western Oklahoma. They've been married 15 years. They have 2 children. Garrett, my nephew is now 7. He plays soccer on 2 different teams. He is very good!. Rachel, my niece is a total doll. She's now 5 years old. She is into dance and tumbling and barbies. She's such a girly girl.

I've been online about 7 years and I've met some really cool people. I started out joining an E-mail group in hopes that I would meet people, but then I discovered chatting. There are LOTS of places to chat on the WWW, but I've been fortunate enough to happen onto some of the greatest, I think. My other hobbies include cross stitching and scrapbooking! I've been cross stitching for several years and I've created a page with links to several cross stitching sites. You can see them here. Hopefully they are all working.

I also crochet. I've been crocheting since I was very young. My aunt taught me to crochet a chain stitch when I was a girl and I made a chain all the way home from her house, which is about a 100 miles from home....You can imagine how LONG it was!! I still love to do it and I make snowflakes for my Christmas tree and doilies for my friends at Christmas time.

In the last couple of years, I've started working on creating memory albums of photos. This is a fun hobby if you enjoy taking photographs and keeping an album.
